Classroom game

The full show on the big screen. Three students play Red, Yellow and Blue from their phones; everyone else is the audience. A coach hosts from a phone and gets a join code.

Short on players?

One or two students and a host

Fill any empty podium with a Computer contestant. Students without a phone can still play: type their name and the host taps for them.

Choose how tough the Computer is: Rookie to GOAT.

Solo

One player, no host

You at the red podium against two Computer contestants: a toss-up, a round, the Speed-Up and the Bonus Round. About ten minutes.

How a classroom game works

  1. The coach starts it. Tap Host a game on your phone, enter the coach PIN, and tap Start a new game. The game makes a 6-digit code.
  2. Open the big screen. On the host phone, tap Open the big screen on the computer hooked to the projector.
  3. Pick contestants. Students go to playstepup.com/join, type the code and their name, and pick Red, Yellow or Blue. The host can move anyone, pick three at random, or fill a podium with the Computer.
  4. Play. Toss-ups, wheel rounds, the Speed-Up and the Bonus Round. The host phone shows the answer and what to say next. The champion gets a certificate.
